Advocacy to use Law 13.445/17 and emergency assistance regulations as the legal framework for taking in Venezuelan migrants. The law establishes the rights and responsibilities of migrants, regulates their entrance into the country, and sets principles and guidelines for public policies that affect them. It was urgent that this law be effectively implemented to tend to the Venezuelan population.
