Marajo Archipelago in Brazil: For elaboration of the Indepent Audit for the project proposal “Enhancing resilience of smallholders to climate change impacts through adapting and scaling up agroforestry systems in the Marajo Archipelago in Brazil” developed under the Project Preparation Facility of the Green Climate Fund.
The objective of the consultancy is to conduct an independent audit to enable the auditor to express an independent opinion on the financial performance of the activities undertaken by Fundación Avina for funds received and expenditures made under the project.
Marajo Archipelago in Brazil: For consultancy on Free Prior Informed Consent of the project “Enhancing resilience of communities, smallholders and ecosystems to climate change impacts through adapting and scaling up land/resources used systems in the Marajo Archipelago in Brazil”.
The overall purpose of the Consultancy is to conduct a Free Prior and Informed Consent process with Quilombola communities in Soure, Salvaterra and Cachoeira do Arari, as well as to conduct information meetings with other communities that might be part of the project's target group.
Marajo Archipelago in Brazil: Financial Model Feasibility Proposal for the Adaptation to Climate Change project proposal called “Enhancing resilience of communities, smallholders and ecosystems to climate change impacts through adapting and scaling up land/resources used systems in the Marajo Archipelago in Brazil” to be considered for funding support by the Green Climate Fund.
The overall purpose of the consultancy is to elaborate a technical proposal for a financial model to be adopted by the project being developed by Fundación Avina that will ensure effectiveness, sustainability and scalability of the provision of finance for the adaptation solutions proposed long-term. The proposal should take into consideration the climate needs and financial capabilities of smallholders in Marajo and the interest/barriers/needs and opportunities of interest local financial institutions operating in Marajo.
