At Fundación Avina, we believe that deep transformations are built through collaboration, mutual care, and win-win relationships. These principles guide all our programs and shape our work with organizations, companies, governments, and communities worldwide.

In Panama, beyond the various initiatives we promote with our allies, we also explore other ways to foster collaboration and add value to diverse stakeholders.

Participation in Panama's Corporate Social Responsibility Week

On October 14–15, Fundación Avina participated in Panama's Corporate Social Responsibility Week, organized by SUMARSE, a network of over 200 companies committed to ESG principles.

Represented by Bernardo Toro, Fundación Avina opened the country's largest sustainability event, which featured presidents of business networks from Costa Rica, Guatemala, and the Dominican Republic. Toro emphasized that global challenges — social, climatic, and economic — can only be addressed through cooperation and an ethics centered on the common good.

"We need a new paradigm, a new way of seeing and building the world: we must learn to care (…). Knowing how to care means knowing how to make win-win transactions in all kinds of relationships and in every space where these transactions take place," he said to the packed conference audience.
