Philanthropy in Latin America and the Caribbean is being reshaped by shifts in funding flows, rising inequality, and increasing social and environmental pressures. 

The new report by WINGS identifies eight key trends shaping the region’s philanthropic ecosystem. Insights range from diversified funding sources and community philanthropy to #ClimateJustice, human mobility, and innovative finance. 

Philanthropy Trends in Latin America and the Caribbean” (check out here a summary in English) reflects a sector that is increasingly locally rootedcollaborative, and adaptive, while navigating growing volatilitypolitical complexity, and structural inequalities. 

Developed through a collaborative regional working group, the report aims to strengthen philanthropy’s role by promoting more strategiccollaborative, and impact-driven approaches.
