Fundación Avina’s Expectations for COP26

The health crisis we are experiencing is a prelude to the challenges that humankind will face over the coming decades as a result of climate change. One thing we have learned is that if we are to avoid the most catastrophic scenarios, we can do so only through global collaboration.

It is clear to young people that their future is at risk. But at the current rate of response to the climate crisis, humankind will fail them. The opportunity to change the direction of history exists, and it is in our hands – and in the hands of the leaders who meet in Glasgow between November 1 to 21, 2021.

Avina signs on to climate change initiatives

With the firm belief that global collaboration must be at the center of solutions to the climate crisis, Fundación Avina has joined the following initiatives, all of which will be featured during the COP26 conference.

Avina’s key allies at COP26

Throughout different projects and initiatives, we are working with strategic allies to develop events and support the participation of Global South representation at COP26.
