COLLABORATIVE PROCESSES:
FUNDACIÓN AVINA’S GUIDING VISION

Today, collaborative change processes are the essence of everything we do. In more than twenty years of experience, we have been able to perfect and systematize our model and, subsequently, positively impact the lives of millions of people.

Fundación Avina’s collaborative processes are developed based on our in-depth knowledge of the areas where we work, as well as the identities and idiosyncrasies present in the Global South.  Together with our strategic partners, we seek to align various interests and visions, to coordinate actions undertaken, and to position agendas in a way that develops realistic solutions and lasting change.

IDENTIFYING
IMPACT OPPORTUNITIES

Fundación Avina determines impact opportunities based on the identification of four fundamental elements:

Relevance

Could the project have a lasting impact on sustainability?

Collaboration Gaps

Does a lack of collaboration represent a major obstacle to scaling the project?

Inflection Point

Is it possible to make strategic impact?

Scalability

Can the impact be exponential?

THE 5 ELEMENTS OF OUR
COLLABORATIVE PROCESSES

If we look closely at the most influential social movements and examples of successful, large-scale social changes, we recognize five essential components that interact and reinforce one another.

When we identify these five components in a process of change, we classify it as a Collaborative Process of Change.  And when we want to increase the potential for impact, we focus our work on accelerating and scaling these components.

At Fundación Avina, we call this approach CollaborAction.

PARTNERS

More than 20 years of experience in collaborative processes has allowed us to generate a global network of partners, with whom we develop new processes. These, in turn, generate new partnerships, which creates a dynamic of continuous growth.
