About the Democracy at Work Fund

The Democracy at Work Fund pools support from multiple funders to provide grants to frontline organizations in Asia, Africa, and South America. It prioritizes initiatives led by informal workers, women, and underrepresented groups, especially those working at the intersection of labor rights, gender justice, racial justice, and climate justice.

Strategic Presence

Avina’s participation in the forum is strategic for amplifying workers’ voices and influencing public policy and international regulatory frameworks. It also strengthens the organization’s positioning as a key actor in promoting human rights and economic justice from the Global South.
