A network of over 150 staff and consultants located in 15 countries carry out the day-to-day work of Fundación Avina. They develop strategies, channel investments, and add value to collaborative processes across four continents. This ensures both the efficient management of resources as well as transparency and traceability.

Fundación Avina’s organizational structure (13 legal entities in Latin American countries and one in the United States) enables us to adapt to each country’s financial and legal system, comply with pertinent laws and regulations, and facilitate access to financing for our allies.

Fundación Avina’s administrative headquarters operates globally via our entities in Panama and the United States, where Avina Americas is based. Avina Americas is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity located in Washington, DC that serves as a bridge connecting US-based philanthropic organizations with the causes we support in Latin America and around the world.
